I am a chosen mama to a sweet young man named Peter! I live off strong cold brew with the latest flavor craze and a good book! I love dinosaurs, puzzles, board games and people! When I am not sharing my story from a stage or helping women through their own messy stories you can find me curled up with a good book, listening to the latest true crime podcast or hosting friends around my kitchen table for dinner or game night!

I am a speaker, writer, life coach and advocate for the lost, broken and forgotten. I once was all of these things. I found redemption in my own story when I boarded a plane from Wichita, Kansas to Baltimore, Maryland with one suitcase, a journal and a plan. Leaving behind a life of trauma and shame I am firm in the belief that my life represents God’s work in building beauty from ashes. I believe that my past allows me to relate too and remind others that they are not alone in their journey.

In 2011, I co-founded G.E.M. (Gospel Education Mentoring), and have since mentored hundreds of underserved students in the glory of God’s message, working with them to strive for the best in their education and personal lives.

More recently I wanted a way to connect more deeply with the population I felt closest too: women. So the Restoration Experience was born. The Restoration Experience is a ministry that walks women out of their messy middle and into their own personal restoration.

The Restoration Experience began as a two-day retreat designed to guide women towards finding freedom, grace, redemption and victory in their God stories. It has since evolved into more than I could have ever imagined. Restoration Coaching, opportunities to speak, and coming soon The Restoration House.

My mission is to advocate for the lost, the broken and the forgotten, loving them the way Jesus loves me, while speaking truth, hope and love into their lives along the way.
